Amazon’s Treasure Truck rolls into Liverpool

Amazon’s Treasure Truck rolled into Liverpool last week, offering special offers and limited edition stock for customers at the city’s Liverpool One shopping centre.

The Treasure Truck parked up on March 29, and will be returning to the city in the next few weeks. It first launched in the UK in London and Manchester in 2017, with Leeds, York, and Coventry among its destinations last year. The Truck promises ‘one hand-picked can’t miss item at a time.’

Customers that are signed up to receive texts on the current surprise special offer from the Treasure Truck can then order their goodies via Amazon and specify a collection point from the Truck’s itinerary. The roaming vehicle was created to introduce a new element of excitement to shopping with the online giant – supposedly an adult’s version of hearing the ice cream van arriving!

Categories featured on the Treasure Truck include ‘Dream kitchen upgrades’ (as well as ‘Trendng tcch’ and fresh foods). Past special offers have included Kitchen Aid mixers and Joseph Joseph chopping boards.
