Ashley’s at home with DMD

Peak District based designer Ashley Thomas became the fastest selling designer at Debenhams with her collection of home accessories for the department store. However, her first job as a college leaver was with DMD. She is now delighted to have launched a new licensed collection of linens and tableware with the company. The Ashley Thomas Collection was launched at both the recent Spring Fair and Ambiente.

“We’ve known Ashley for ten years and she has kept in touch with friends at the company,” said DMD’s sales director, Rob Blackburn. Speaking about the new range, Rob said: “We saw a gap in the market for this sort of collection for independent retailers.”

Ashley was unable to attend Spring Fair having recently become a mum. She is a self-confessed teapot collector, and says she is running out of shelves for her large collection!
