‘Back to work’ safety insights from BHETA

BHETA’s series of member webinars has been extended with another four events added to the popular programme. Tomorrow’s webinar (Wednesday May 20) features BHETA’s HR and health and safety business service provider, Ellis Whittam. It is followed by a webinar with foreign exchange specialists, AFEX on Thursday (May 21).

The health and safety presentation will cover everything employers should have in place to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of employees returning to work as businesses reopen, as well as talking through the Government’s COVID-19 recovery strategy plan in general. Attendees will also be able to ask questions.

The session will be delivered by Nick Wilson, director of health and safety services, a seasoned safety practitioner with over 25 years’ experience.  Formerly an Inspector with the HSE, he worked in the regulatory division of a national law firm before joining Ellis Whittam in 2013.

In the AFEX webinar, Mark Deans, sales manager and Jonathan Rackstraw, senior FX options dealer will provide highly relevant content including the volatility of foreign exchange through the Covid-19 crisis and details of the AFEX complimentary trade audit and risk assessment consultation.

In other events, the CBI will provide a business update, and market data provider GlobalData will update housewares members on the latest financial projections for the home enhancement industry (dates to be announced shortly).

Commenting on the programme, BHETA’s marketing manager Steve Richardson said, “The webinar formula is really gathering pace since launch in April.  Not only are numbers of attendees growing with every event, the quality of advice is excellent and wide-ranging – and vital for supplier business at this critical time.  I urge all BHETA members to participate.”

BHETA’s chief operating officer Will Jones added, “BHETA is demonstrating that not only can it still deliver added value services, but that it also able to provide information and contacts, including retail contacts to its members.”
