Chic design from Taiwan

The ultra-modern Tears of Diamond kettle from Designburg is one of many stylish housewares products from Taiwan, highlighted in Taiwan in Design – a feature of this month’s digital Maison & Objet and More (replacing the physical Paris show). The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) organised the participation of a handpicked selection of creative Taiwanese brands.

Striking HMM mugs (Kiwico Corporation), the Vinaero Pro-Adjustable Electric Wine Aerator (Mercuries Asia), the Rice Ear Air Purifier, plus Jia’s coffee collections, bento boxes and steamers (Life and Living International) are among the housewares highlights from Taiwan.  “Each brand is unique with its philosophy towards design, taking inspiration from the local cultures in combining tradition with science, technology, and sustainability,” explains Adèle Sreeves , project manager at the Taiwan Trade Centre in London.

TAITRA is hosting online meetings with the featured Taiwanese companies (https://www.surveycake.com/s/RqPBM ), some of which are offering special shipping arrangements until the end of October.
