Cookut focuses on zero waste

French brand Cookut (distributed by Forma House) displayed its zero waste message across its stand at the recent Ambiente, with the launch of several new products to help consumers cut down their waste.

New lines include FSC bamboo straws, a bamboo ‘on the go’ cutlery set and bamboo toothbrushes with brushes made from vegetable oil resin infused with charcoal, as well as organic cotton coffee filters.

Other Cookut products are designed to create “good results using less materials and less electricity,” notes founder, Gergory Maitre, citing the crepe maker and whipped cream maker.

Gregory told HousewaresNews.net: “To change the world, we should encourage coking at home instead of consuming processed food – it is better for health and the environment.”
