Curver’s parent group is making reusable facemasks

Keter Group – the parent group of housewares company Curver – is helping the fight against Covid-19 with its development and manufacture of ergonomically designed facemask with replacement filters and filter packs.  The design was developed in Italy by the AP Medical arm of the Keter Group, addressing the comfort safety of health care and key workers.

The masks and fillers can be re-used after cleaning and sterilisation to help reduce waste and strain on care facility supply chains. The Group is donating a quantity of facemasks to hospitals, care facilities and schools across Europe.

Kerry Murfin, Keter’s marketing director Europe, said: “In these challenging times it has never been more important to support our local communities and healthcare professionals.  Facemasks are now being made compulsory on transport in several countries and as restrictions ease, masks can help to protect healthcare professionals and other workers as they undertake their duties.”
