IndyBest names its best induction pans

The renowned consumer testing platform from The Independent has rated its top induction pans across a number of categories.

Testers cooked with the pans several times, to see how well they performed across a range of criteria including heat distribution, versatility, ease, comfort of handling and, where applicable, how well its non-stick coating performed.

The pans were assessed in terms of their robustness of construction, their weight and how easy they were to store, as well as how easy there were to handwash and whether they are dishwasher safe.

The best induction pans for 2024, according to IndyBest are:

Best induction pan overall – Stellar induction pan, non-stick.

Best budget induction pan set – Swan retro five-piece pan set.

Best non-stick induction pan – GreenPan Barcelona pro 18cm saucepan with lid.

Best design-led pan – Smeg casserole pan.
