Ladelle launches eco range

Ladelle’s stand at both Spring Fair and Ambiente featured it first products with an Eco label. So far, these include an apron and tea towels, with oven mitts to follow later this year, and many more products in the pipeline for 2020.

The initial textile collection is in grey created from recycled cotton, created from small offcuts from textiles manufacturers, which are sorted by colour and re-spun and then woven into new fabric.

The products come with recycled labelled attached using twine. “Our new Eco products fit well with our large range of natural cleaning products, which now come in three fragrances and with a new stand,” says Dorothee Hiebsch, international sales manager for Ladelle.

Spring Fair and Ambiente also marked the last trade shows for Ladelle’s Evelyn and Richard Seton, who are retiring after 35 with the company (including the past six years getting the UK business well-established). The couple have moved back to their home country, New Zealand. Ladelle’s UK customers will continue to be well looked after by the team of UK sales agents, supported by Dorothee as well as Andrew Wilson, general manager sales and marketing (based in Melbourne).
