Meet the Suppliers from Turkey

This month sees a special housewares event offering the opportunity to meet 22 leading housewares manufacturers from Turkey. The ‘Meet the Suppliers’ events will be held in London (Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London on March 26) and Birmingham (Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre on March 27).

The product areas covered include Kitchenware in plastic, enamel and melamine, as well as glassware and porcelain tableware, plus cookware in stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, enamel, and non-stick with granite, ceramic, Teflon, diamond and titanium coatings.

The various other housewares items represented by Turkish suppliers include ironing boards, clothes airers, spin mops and bathroom accessories.

“Turkey is one of the world’s leading manufacturers, offering high quality products and competitive pricing,” says Tolga Akarcali from the shows’ organiser, QEC, adding: “Buyers can also take advantage of the strength of the pound against the Turkish lira, and benefit from meeting alternative and superior sources without the trouble of a hectic trade show.

All suppliers have years of export experience, references and all necessary UK certifications, as well as social audits.

The events follow a successful format, with previous “Meet the Suppliers” shows having covered textiles and fabrics, naturalstone, and commercial catering equipment. The events are supported by the Ministry of Trade for Turkey.
