Notcutts Wheatcroft opens its first cook shop

The garden centre in Nottingham recently opened a new cook shop, designed  to cater for home chefs, with expert help on hand.

Notcutts’ Wheatcroft cook shop offers kitchenware from brands including Kuhn Rikon, Global, Katana Saya and Captivate Brands across a range of categories including cookware, bakeware, tools and gadgets, tableware, serveware, knives and more.

The cook shop is the first to open in Notcutts’ 19 branches and will be offering cookery demonstrations for customers. The first demo in conjunction with Kuhn Rikon took place this month with TV food stylist  Maria Vincent.

John Wilson, general manager at Notcutts Wheatcroft, told the Nottingham Post: “We’re delighted to introduce the new Notcutts Cook Shop to our garden centre. This exciting new venture is designed to cater for the chef at home with a dedicated team of trained experts on hand to help. Whether you’re the chef in yoru household or just getting started, our fantastic team is here to assist and we look forward to welcoming you to our live cooking demonstration.

“While plants and gardening remain at our core, we’re proud to offer local residents an enhanced shopping experience with kitchenware, homeware, gifts and more, alongside our 300-seater restaurant. Customers really enjoy visiting and spending time with us and we’re sure our new Notcutts Cook Shop will be a huge success and welcome addition.”
