Retail 100 on what retailers’ need

In a BHETA webinar on November 1, Retail 100 is examining the current retail market and providing tips for success in 2023.  The event aims to ‘unlock what retailers want in these tough times’.

Retail 100 is a consultancy comprising four retail experts who all formerly worked at John Lewis & Partners, with collectively over 100 years of experience in retail, including homeware, tableware, glassware, cookshop, seasonal and gifts. The team includes Elaine Hooper, senior buyer, Anna Berry, head of buying home, Neil Amer, senior Merchandiser and Sara Allbright, senior Buyer.

The organisation advises suppliers of all sizes on business planning, assortment review, sourcing, customer, brand, online and sustainability.  This also includes private label product development, licensing, critical path management and innovation and all recommendations are uniquely tailored to each supplier’s situation.

“It is rare for suppliers to be able to enjoy access to such varied yet detailed experience of working with a major retailer,” stated Seema Grantham, sector manager for housewares and small domestic electricals, adding: “I am sure that this session will prove beneficial for all parties.”
