Retailers, self nominate for EIH 2019

Housewares stockists and cookshops from across the retail spectrum are invited to make submissions for the Excellence in Housewares Awards.

To enter the Excellence in Retail Display Awards, retailers should send six high resolution images of their best displays (current or from during the past year).

To enter the Excellence in Retailer Initiative or Excellence in Training Awards, housewares retailers should send a summary related to a current or recent initiative  (to promote sales /footfall/customer loyalty or boost profile), and/or a summary related to a training programme or training initiative.

Submissions should be made to Jo Howard, editor of HousewaresNews.net and Progressive Housewares magazine (organisers of The Excellence in Housewares Awards, in conjunction with Bira) at joh@max-publishing.co.uk by May 31 2019.

Completing an entry form (showing the full criteria for each self-nomination award) is optional – for retailers wishing to use a form, they can be downloaded HERE.

“We know how hard housewares retailers are working to create excitement and sales and we’re also aware that many retailers don’t shout about all of the fantastic things they do – so now is the time to put yourself forward,” said Jo. She added: “We encourage housewares retailers of all types and sizes to send in submissions for the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2019.”

Progressive Housewares will also be contacting those retailers who receive nominations from suppliers for their great displays, initiatives and training to ask them to send in further information or images.

For information for suppliers about nominating retailers or entering products for The Excellence in Housewares Awards 2019 see http://www.excellenceinhousewaresawards.co.uk/how-to-enter/
