Team PH’s Mad March Million…

The team at Progressive Housewares will collectively take one million steps during March 2021 to raise funds for the Rainy Day Trust.

PrintThe Rainy Day Trust is determined to keep raising vital funds at a time when it is more valuable than ever to be able to help those suffering. The latest issued challenge is to take one million steps during March, an initiative thought-up by the Trusts’ ceo Bryan Clover. “You don’t have to be a mad March hare to take part in the RDT Mad March Million –  just put a small team together at work, or maybe family and friends and walk or run, hop, skip, stumble or jump 1 million steps in March between you.

Just record your steps from your phone each day and keep us up to date, we’ll do the rest, publishing a leader board and making sure that your team or business get their name out there for all to see.  To keep fit anyway, the recommendation is that we all walk 10,000 steps a day, so you can do the maths!” said Bryan.

Not ones to shy away from a challenge, especially with a very fit and healthy Emma Cain (PH’s product editor) on side, Progressive Housewares has entered a team – Progressive Pedometers –  and dusted off its walking boots. John Barry, advertising manager for housewares operations at Max Publishing said: “This is a lovely way to raise some vital funds while improving our own physical and mental health at the same time. Jo Howard has plenty of dog-walking to take care of, plus I’ve finally managed to unstick Rob Willis from his office chair which is no bad thing – he could do with getting some miles under that tight belt!”

Sponsor the PH Team here – every little helps, with thanks from Jo, John, Emma and Rob.
