Following a successful marketing campaign in Spring 2018, Tefal is once again deploying a multi-level digital media campaign to ‘Join the Fight against Limescale’ which will include both Facebook and YouTube. The campaign is running for four weeks throughout April and will be underpinned with a comprehensive range of specially designed in-store POSM.
Andre Silva, marketing manager for Linen Care at Groupe SEB UK explains: “By using patented Tefal anti-scale technology limescale build-up is targeted and eliminated. That’s the message this campaign will be blasting out to fully educate consumers on the need to fight limescale and keep their steam irons and high-pressure steam generators working in tip top condition.”
Andre points out that: “Tefal high pressure steam generator irons can collect up to 10x more scale compared to standard steam generator irons,” and that a bright orange colour is being used to highlight the benefits.
He adds: “Half of homes in the UK have hard water. Overtime limescale will build up inside your steam iron or generator. This leads to less steam generated to remove creases and shortens the life of the product.”
Moreover Tefal’s unique removable Scale Collector reduces limescale build-up and blockages in the steam chamber to ensure long lasting steam performance for easy crease removal.
“With a deeper-than-standard capacity, Tefal’s Scale Collector for irons collects scale particles directly from the sole plate in an easy-to-remove drawer, preventing blockages in the sole plate. The Scale Collector for high pressure steam generators is a unique twist-in ‘spoon’ to collect up to 10x more scale particles directly from the boiler,” explains Andre.
