Tefal introduces So Light

Tefal has launched its lightest induction pan range yet – So Light – up to 40% lighter than its Unlimited range.

The new So Light range promises to revolutionise the kitchen experience for novices and experts alike when it comes to sauteing, searing and simmering.

The So Light range, available exclusively with John Lewis, includes Tefal’s Thermo-Spot technology – a temperature indicator that highlights when the pan has reached the ideal cooking temperature. The range is also made from Tefal’s durable and safe non-stick coating, resulting in healthier cooking with less oil, and a quick and easy clean up.

Prioritising convenience, the So Light range also features Tefal’s Light Tech Technology, for rapid heating on all stovetop types including induction, with 99% of customers enjoying faster cooking times (according to a consumer usage test by Groupe SEB among 120 people, France & Germany, 2023).

With a sleek, modern design, So Light is available in four frying pan sizes (22cm, 24cm, 28cm and 30cm) and a 28cm wok. Cook in comfort with ergonomically designed handles in which 98% of customers agreed that the secure and comfortable grip makes for effortless cooking.

Stefan Kaczmarcyk, cookware marketing manager at Tefal said: “We are always looking for innovative ways to enhance the kitchen experience, and our new ultra-lightweight cookware range, So Light, embodies that commitment. The So Light range is designed for everyone, from novice cooks to seasoned chefs, with four different frying pan sizes and a wok currently available in the range.

“Designed to inspire creativity in the kitchen with both comfort and durability, So Light promises to make cooking effortless and we can’t wait to see what our customers rustle up with our new pans.”
