Wüsthof to sell direct in UK

Wüsthof has announced that it we will be fulfilling sales and distribution itself in the UK from January 1 2023. The premium knives brand is in the process of setting up a sales force and will supply retail stockists directly from a Wüsthof warehouse located in the UK.

“We would like to expressly thank Paul Shelley for his consistent support and cooperation in the past 22 years and Haus Marketing in the past 18 years,” commented Jan-Patrick Schmitz, ceo of Wüsthof. “We have greatly appreciated the professional, reliable and, above all, extraordinarily good partnership we’ve had over from the whole team at Haus Marketing & Distribution Limited (Stoke-on-Trent) since Paul founded the company in 2004. Thank you very much Paul and team!” Haus will continue to look after the brand until the end of the year.

In a statement to Wüsthof stockists, Jan-Patrick explained: “As a family-owned company positioned in the premium sector, close contact with you is an important driver in our quality and service-oriented corporate strategy – a strategy we have already successfully introduced across Europe, the USA and Canada in recent years. With direct sales, we can better meet your uncompromising requirements and needs. This includes direct and comprehensive advice, for example, on the new series and campaigns that we’ll be launching in the near future.”
