Retailers are ‘delighted’ to be finalists in the EIH Awards

Independent cookshops across the UK have been celebrating their place as finalists in the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2023.

With just over a week to go until the awards ceremony on Wednesday 4 October, 2023 at The Royal Lancaster London, anticipation among the finalists is building.

David and Ione Crossley, owners of Salamander Cookshop, commented: “We are delighted to be a finalist for the Cookshop of the Year award, which for us would be the ultimate accolade for us and our team as it focuses what we are and what we do. We have featured the news in our monthly newsletter and in two local publications already.”

Tilly Barnett, social media and marketing at Cookmate, said: “We were really excited to hear we have been recognised in both ‘Independent Cookshop of the year’ and ‘Excellence in Retail Display’ categories for this year’s Excellence in Housewares Awards 2023. Our small team work so hard to keep our shop looking lovely, stocked up, and offering their expert advice to our loyal customers. Thank you to all who nominated us – we will be crossing our fingers for the 4 October.”
