T&G is making waves in stores

Now launched at retail, the Ocean range from T&G is making a splash with in-store displays across the UK. For each sale, T&G is making a donation to Plastic Oceans UK, helping to support ocean education and sustainability programmes. The range includes wire fish and whale baskets, wire trivets, cork tablemats and coasters, fish trivet and whale shaped boards.

Lindsay Crowther at Barbours in Dumfries has recently installed a display of the range in the department store’s Cookshop, commenting: “Ocean is a topical range with its natural materials and on trend colours but it is also a bit different and quirky.” She adds that, with concerns about single use plastic high on the consumer agenda: “It is nice to draw attention to sustainability and help raise money for a good cause.”

Meanwhile, T&G’s head of marketing Jenny Handley reflects on the launch: “T&G hopes this range will engage everyone in a conversation to rethink plastic and what we can all do to help.”

The collection will be expanding with new storage pieces to be launched in Spring 2019.
