T&G cleans up with Ocean additions

With most consumers keen to avoid plastic products, T&G – among the exhibitors at this week’s Exclusively Housewares show (June 11-12, London’s Business Design Centre) – have introduced a bar of Ocean organic soap in rosemary and lavender fragrance to encourage people to change habits. The soap is complemented with a range of Ocean ceramic soap dishes.

“Liquid soap usually comes in throw away plastic bottles leading to so much plastic waste,” says T&G’s head of marketing Jenny Handley. “Our new Ocean soap bars mean less waste and less climate pollution. Also, as they contain less water, they last longer and are more cost effective. The soap also contains sustainable palm oil, which ensures the supply chain isn’t wrecking the rainforests eco-system.”

She adds: “Giving someone a T&G Ocean bar of soap and Ocean soap dish makes an ideal gift for those that want to help the environment and help make a wave of change.”

T&G makes a donation to www.plasticoceansuk from the sale of these products.
