Will to head up Groupe SEB

Groupe SEB (the hope of Tefal and Krups) has announced that Will Yates will move up to the position of its managing director for UK and Ireland from September 1 2019.

Will joined Groupe SEB in January 2016 as sales director and was recently promoted to commercial director. During his tenure the business has strengthened further through key initiatives and successful product launches resulting in strong sales growth.

Will has a genuine passion for change through his leadership and strategic skills and the ability to stimulate sales in mature markets, through good understanding and strong partnerships.  He takes over the role of md from Richard Joaristi who is moving to take up a new role within Groupe SEB as vice president South East Asia.

Commenting on his new elevation, Will said: “This is a fantastic opportunity in a amazing business, with great people, to further build on the successes we have seen over recent years. We will continue to deliver market leading innovation, category driving initiatives and best in class execution to further establish our leadership positions.’

Will’s previous positions include sales revenue controller (Northern Europe) and field sales director Mondelez International.
