Samuel Groves launches ‘pans for life’

Samuel Groves has launched a Pan for Life refurbishment scheme, meaning that consumers can return their Samuel Groves pans for re-coating and repairs.

The scheme comes after consultation with retailers. Consumers will be encouraged to register their Samuel Groves purchases to make use of the service.

Lee McDonagh, md of U Group (which owns the Samuel Groves brand) reports: “All non stick coatings degrade over time and the number of dishwasher cycles, so we are able to recoat all of our non-stick cookware, and replace any worn or damaged rivets.”

He continues: “We will then re-polish our pans back to the state when they first came off the production line giving the consumer a true pan for life.”

The cost of refurbishment will be approximately 25% of the cost of a new pan.
