Whitford Worldwide (from PPG) will showcase its 2020 nature-inspired ‘Biophilic Vibe’ collection of colours for a wide range of non-stick coatings at Ambiente 2020 (Frankfurt February 7-11, Hall 3.0).
Whitford’s stand will include a living wall as a backdrop to the 2020 palettes – an array of blue, green and earth toned ‘tints that celebrate humans’ innate desire to connect with nature’.
“Our ‘Biophilic Vibe’ collection complements PPG’s 2020 Colour of the Year, Chinese Porcelain, in that all of the colours elicit a sense of calmness,” said Hendekea Azene, PPG’s global business director, industrial coatings. “In a time when technology seems to take over every aspect of our lives, these colours help connect us back to nature, bringing a bit of the outdoors in through the use of colour.”
The stand will also contain a special section dedicated to Whitford’s consumer bakeware coatings, including the new Skandia Xtreme HR (High Release) coil coating, which boasts outstanding sweet and savoury food release without greasing after the first use.
Among other coatings on display will be Eclipse HB (High Build) Peek – a new coating that incorporates extreme hardness, outstanding abrasion and scratch resistance with high quality non-stick properties.
