What More shortlisted for six awards

What More (the Lancashire based manufacturer of housewares, bakeware and cookware) has been shortlisted for six industry awards. The company continues to receive record order levels – it has been keeping up with heightened demand for bakeware and organisational products during lockdown.

What More’s Wham Upcycled range is shortisted for The European Recycling Awards – Best Recycled Product, and the National Recycling Awards – Recycled Product of the year plus the Social Value Initiative Award (for its Community Engagement Programme).

“This shortlisting really means a lot to us because it shows we’re on the right track,” acknowledges company director Tony Grimshaw OBE. “We’re looking for a sustainable future for our business and everyone involved. That means taking care of the people and the environment we rely on and creating products that have a sustainable lifecycle.”

Established in 1999, What More UK now exports to 73 countries.

* What More has announced it is looking for 35 new members of staff plus five new apprentices. Tony states: “The order book is looking healthy and we’re hoping to take on another 35 members of staff across the company to help us maintain our service record. We’re working hard to build our business and that way we’ll be prepared for the future.”
