What More adds Costa Rica to exports

What More UK (manufacturing the Wham storage brand in Lancashire) is continuing to expand in its worldwide exports. Despite the turmoil of a global health crisis, the company has announced its newest export destination of Costa Rica, Central America.

With a GPD of over $95 Billion, Costa Rica has one of the strongest economies in Latin America and was named the greenest country in the world in 2009. It aims to become totally carbon neutral by 2021.

What More hopes to be able to help Costa Rica achieve its environmental targets by helping to eliminate single use plastics and encourage recycling. What More’s Upcycled range is made entirely from recycled single use plastics diverted from landfill.

Company director Tony Grimshaw OBE comments on the importance of the export market for fellow UK manufacturers: “People perceive ‘made in Britai’n as made of top quality, and they’re right about that. As a country we have high standards. Export is a great way for companies to increase their customer base and in the current market conditions it could provide a lifeline for many organisations.”
