Jarrold of Norwich is one of the housewares retailers that will be celebrated at The Inspired Home Show 2022 in Chicago next month as part of the IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia) programme.
The gia programme was created in 2000 by IHA and The Inspired Home Show (formerly the International Home + Housewares Show) to foster innovation and excellence in home and housewares retailing throughout the world.
A record number of 33 national gia winners – including the current gia UK winner, Jarrold and Ireland’s Stock Design (see list below) – will be showcased with banners and a special display in the Grand Concourse Walkway at The Inspired Home Show, from March 5-7 (Chicago’s McCormick Place). They will also be honoured at the gia Awards dinner on Saturday March 5, where five gia Global Honorees for 2022 and winners of the Martin M Pegler and gia Digital Commerce Awards will be announced.
The gia Awards dinner will also see the presentation of a trophy to Harrods for the gia Top Window Award 2021. The iconic London department store was one of the four Global Honorees (announced online last October) for the special award that recognised creative excellence. The ‘Harrods is Home’ windows were created for the store’s grand reopening in April 2021.

As part of gia’s educational offering, the four gia expert jurors (Wolfgang Gruschwitz, Scott Kohno, Henrik Peter Reisby Nielsen and Anne Kong) will present a special session: Retail 360° – Redefining the Customer Experience (Monday March 7 in the Show’s Innovation Theatre).
