Original Products celebrates 70 years

Jeray Original Products is celebrating seven decades, looking back over an impressive archive of images.

“We’re proud to be celebrating our 70th anniversary of supplying home barware and giftware to the retail trade across Europe,” states managing director Paul Spencer.

“From our iconic pink elephant drink cooler and pineapple ice bucket to unique glassware and cocktail accessories we have always been at the forefront of the latest trends. Our Canadian partners Final Touch add a comprehensive range of premium drinkware while our integration of Oliphant extends the catalogue with fun, home-designed gift solutions.”

Paul reflects: “We have seen a lot of drink trends come and go; three cocktail booms are just one example!”

Paul reports that Original Product’s top 20 list by value for 2021 “is still filled with our classic decanters, ever-popular bottle wrap, drying rack, electric corkscrew and the iconic pineapple ice bucket.”

Paul also acknowledges: “So far in 2022, it is distinctive glassware such as our Ship or Shark in a Glass (a Gift of the Year finalist), Cactus Shots and Smoking Pipe Glasses that have gained publicity, with some exciting whisky accessories to follow.”

Recognising the current home bar boom, Paul enthuses: “Cocktails are certainly on trend now and we’ll be launching both classic and fun accessories for autumn.”
