George’s Quest for Nespresso

Nespresso’s new advertisement entitled ‘The Quest’ sees George Clooney portray a knight in armour who has just saved a medieval kingdom by slaying a dragon. When the queen, played by Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer, asks the knight to name his prize, George breaks into modern New York in search of a Nespresso boutique. Having travelled on a double decker bus, George finds his perfect prize – a Nespresso coffee – and returns to the queen with a cup for her too.

The epic fantasy adventure in the form of a 60-second advertisement marks the brand’s largest global campaign to date, launching in more than 30 countries.

George Clooney, who started working as brand ambassador for Nespresso back in 2006, said he was “thrilled to be back on set.”

Meanwhile, Natalie Dormer (who has also portrayed Anne Boleyn in The Tudors) admitted: “I’m a big Nespresso fan, and my family thinks it is very apt I am doing this commercial.”
