Zara teams up with Smeg

Zara is expanding its home selection, with its fashion stores introducing more homewares following on from the announcement of Zara Home’s integration with Zara earlier this year. Zara Home products are being rolled out on the Zara website, allowing the company to test customer demand before it becomes available in more markets.

The fashion brand is collaborating with SDA brand Smeg to introduce a collection including the black and cream colourways of the kettle, twice slice toaster and citrus juicer. The range is aimed at the international market rather than just the UK.

John Davies, Smeg’s head of UK sales explained to HousewaresNews.net: “The tie up is very much in it’s infancy but it’s exciting to expand distribution in specialist home stores and the linkage Zara has to the world of fashion and design are values that are very much shared by Smeg,”

Zara has also partnered with Arcos for a new collection of professional kitchen knives.
