EIH Awards supports The Rainy Day Trust

The Excellence in Housewares Awards 2020 is supporting industry charity The Rainy Day Trust with a hotline for donations in the run-up, during and after the virtual event on Wednesday December 9.

“The pandemic has decimated the incomes of charities this year, so we’re hoping that everyone watching the EIH Awards will be able to text a donation, reflecting the generous spirit that’s always present at our Awards,” said Rob Willis, co-owner of the EIH Awards and publishing director of Progressive Housewares.

SIMPLY TEXT 70085 WITH THE WORD HOUSEWARES, and how much you wish to donate, eg
Housewares 5′ or ‘Housewares 10′.

For a twist, anyone who donates £20 ie ‘Housewares 20′ will be entered into a prize draw to win a week’s stay in a fabulous Pembrokeshire holiday home.

“So far this year over 6,000 charities have folded and we are absolutely determined The Rainy Day Trust won’t be one of them,” stated RDT’s ceo Bryan Clover. “Every penny you donate will go straight to the ‘front line’ to help people. Thank you all for your support.”
