Lakeland, John Lewis, Robert Dyas, Harts of Stur, Lords at Home and Borough Kitchen are among the stellar line-up of buyers that have confirmed their participation in The Excellence in Housewares Awards 2021 Product Judging.

The Judging Panel is keen to see the ‘best of the best’ products of the past year, as well as discover new products. This year more than ever we need to see and judge the best new products out there. It’s a great way for us buyers to pick up products we may not have seen before,” comments judge Tom Carter, director of Potters Cookshop, Hockley. He adds: “It is such a prestigious event and what better way to show off the newness than at this year’s awards.”

At Dinghams in Salisbury and Wiltshire, judge Rebecca Hardingham enthuses: “I really enjoyed judging last year and found new products from it.” At La Cookshop, Bladgon, judge Keith Crowther concurs, stating: “The awards illustrate the diverse new products available and place those products in front of buyers who may have missed them otherwise.”

At Harts of Stur, judge David Conduit reflects: “I regularly hear comments regarding winners that it is always the same suppliers who win. It sounds obvious, but you cannot win if you do not enter, and I believe all the judges would be very happy to judge a larger portfolio of products for each category.” He implores suppliers: “So please put yourselves forward; you just never know.’

Entry into the Excellence in Housewares Awards is FREE of charge, EASY via the online portal, requiring product images and summaries, and puts products in front of a keen panel of housewares buyers from across the retail spectrum and all around the UK. To submit product entries, click HERE.
