There is still time for housewares suppliers to enter products into the Gift of the Year’s (GOTY) Kitchen & Dining Award 2022. Recognising supply chain issues have caused delays for companies, the closing date for the competition (organised by The Giftware Association) has been extended to December 15.
Besides the Kitchen & Dining award, GOTY categories include Ethical & Sustainable Gift, Own Label, Home & Garden and Food & Drink.

Following the first round of online judging (where judges log in to see product photography and descriptions), a shortlist will be announced on January 4 2022.
The shortlisted products will be viewed at a live judging day in early February, when highly commended products and ultimate winners will be decided.
The Bioloco Plant Lunch Pot from Blue Eyed Sun was the winner of the Kitchen & Dining GOTY Award 2021. Blue Eyed Sun’s Bioloco Loop flasks won the Contemporary Gift category in 2021 and was also the Public Vote winner. The Kids Bottle in the same range won Ethical and Sustainable Gift.
Highly commended products in the Kitchen & Dining category were T&G’s Tip Top Mills, The Birmingham Balti Company’s Balti Bowl and Samantha Lois’ Resin Coated Solid Olive Wood Bowl.
