UPGS has now planted 1.5 million trees as part of its partnership with Ecologi, the climate action provider.
Last year, Ultimate Products released its ESG strategy, detailing its commitment to reducing its environmental impact through changes to its supply chain and operations.
Through its partnership with Ecologi, UPGS has planted 1.5 million trees and avoided 3,491 tonnes of CO2e, equivalent to 2,679 long haul flights, through the funding of various projects, such as the wind power project in Mexico, and solar power generation in Tamil Nadu and Telengana, India.
UPGS is at the top of the Ecologi tree planting leaderboard, followed by Ubisoft which has funded 1.15m trees.
Ecologi was founded to give companies and individuals a meaningful way to reduce carbon footprint and restore nature.
