On 12 March, BHETA is holding a retailer networking webinar with the B&Q Marketplace initiative to explore options and best practice.

An area of particular interest for the platform is housewares and SDA. Holly Love, business development manager is the speaker for the webinar, and is looking to recruit 3P merchants.

The session will cover the proposition, progress to date, future opportunities and how to onboard, and will be followed by a Q&A.

B&Q Marketplace is looking for suppliers across housewares and SDA, in addition to DIY and garden.

Potential supplier objectives might be:

  • Reaching a global audience
  • Exporting to a particular territory / territories
  • Increasing sales volume by reaching out to a particular platform’s customer base
  • Achieving any of the above with an easier logistics route.
  • Marketing / perceived endorsement / consumer recommendation.
