Excellence in Housewares Awards 2023: Retail finalists announced

Housewaresnews.net is thrilled to reveal the retailer finalists for the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2023.

Both nominations from suppliers, reps and agents, as well as self-nominations and submissions from retailers were received in an extensive polling throughout the sector to reach the finalist list. The retailer awards reach the breadth and depth of the housewares industry, including physical and online stores, independents, multiples, department stores, garden centres, supermarkets and deserving retail employees.

The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on Wednesday 4 October, 2023 at The Royal Lancaster, London. The event is fully supported by trade associations, BHETA and Bira, as well as trade shows including Ambiente, Exclusively and The Inspired Home Show in Chicago, while also being backed by leading suppliers across the housewares sector.

Katie Roberts-Mason, editor of Progressive Housewares and HousewaresNews.net (organisers of the Excellence in Housewares Awards), commented: “We are honoured to announce the EIH 2023 retail finalists. We had an enormous amount of very worthy nominations from suppliers and retailers alike this year, and it’s fabulous to see the innovation, dedication, creativity and proactivity of the retailers in this sector.

“The awards celebrate everyone from the small, family-run indies, up to the multiples, both online and physical stores, who all bring an enormous range of housewares products to the consumer, inspiring a love of cooking and home organisation.”

Rob Willis, coo and joint owner of Max Publishing, added: “We started the year in a precarious financial situation in the UK, which is going to take some time to return to ‘normal’, but that hasn’t stopped the retailers in our wonderful sector. The entries for these awards have shown that all retailers, large and small, have worked incredibly hard to push through and not just survive, but thrive during another tough year. A huge congratulations to all of our finalists, we look forward to celebrating with you.”
