Harrods partners with Williams Sonoma

Harrods is making its first venture into the US market with an exclusive partnership with Williams Sonoma, the specialist kitchenware chain.

Williams Sonoma is offering its online customers a selection of 15 classic Harrods items including the iconic Harrods hampers, signature tea blends and premium biscuits. The collection ranges from Harrods Heritage Toffees, retailing at $19.95, up to Harrods Luxury Extravagance Hamper at $999.95.

“Williams Sonoma is committed to bringing our customers the world’s best products and offering exclusive experiences,” commented Janet Hayes, president of Williams Sonoma. “Our collaboration with Harrods allows us to provide our customers with food products and gifts from one of the most iconic brands in the world.”

Harrods managing director Michael Ward stated: “Our partnership with Williams Sonoma is an exciting representation of our ambitions for Harrods in the future.”

The development follows Harrods’ introduction of Williams Sonoma’s Peppermint Bark range, baking mixes, sauces and flavoured coffee beans to the department store’s newly renovated Roastery and Bake Hall.
