Read the latest issue of Progressive Housewares now

The March/April issue of Progressive Housewares magazine is now available to read online, featuring the annual Retail Barometer survey, and much more.

It’s that time of the year again, when PH turns to the independent cookshops and housewares retailers to ask them about the last year in business and their expectations and hopes for the future for the 18th annual Retail Barometer. This year makes for a fascinating read and gives a very clear picture of the current retail landscape.

Now that we are all back from the Q1 trade shows, the team caught up with exhibitors from Ambiente and Spring Fair to find out how the shows were for them. We also have a report from The Inspired Home Show in Chicago, as well as a deeper look into the gia Global Retail Honorees, which were announced at the show.

The big interview in this issue is with Joanna McKew, the new head of business development at B&Q, to find out all about the B&Q Marketplace and the changes planned for the coming year.

Elsewhere in the issue, the market focus shines a light on the cookware, glassware and outdoor dining sectors. And of course all of the latest news and views are present, along with updates from BHETA and BIRA.
