You haven’t entered the EIH Awards?

The entry deadline for the Excellence In Housewares Awards 2020 has been extended to allow some flexibility to companies with furloughed teams and those catching up on work-loads.

Following the news that this year’s Excellence In Housewares Awards entry process would take place via a new state-of-the-art entry portal, supplier and retailers have been busy making entries via the easy-to-use system. The entry deadline, however, has been extended to Friday 24 July 2020 to allow some vital extra time for entries and nominations, reflecting the slightly abnormal working hours and conditions being faced.

John Barry, advertising and sponsorship manager for Progressive Housewares and the Excellence In Housewares Awards comments: “The uptake from the housewares sector in entering via the new portal has been fantastic with a number of comments on how easy to use this new system is. I have though had a number of calls from companies who are experiencing some lag as they catch-up on work, the new deadline extension should help with this but please do get started as we won’t be able to extend this further.”

Entering is simple – account registration takes just two minutes and entry or nomination takes around five minutes per category. This year, retailers can enter themselves, while suppliers can also enter themselves into the marketing and product development awards categories.

Rob Willis, director and co-owner at Max Publishing added: “This is a chance for marketing teams to shine, what better way to end the year than picking up a trophy at the industry’s oscars, which could well be the biggest industry reunion ever seen – do get those entries sorted in the next few weeks!”
