Housewares exhibition stand ‘maestro’ Peter Limmer passed away at the end of May. Peter was involved in the industry for over 20 years where he operated mainly behind the scenes: principally designing, organising and building trade stands at major housewares and gift exhibitions.
Peter was involved with industry brands such as Buckingham, House of Dorchester, Breville and Antony Worrall Thompson. He set up Triumph Events Europe in the late 90’s and built every Eddingtons exhibition stand since then, both in the UK and overseas. More recently, he overhauled and rebranded the Stow Green exhibition stand at the Spring Fair.
Richard Walker, commercial director pays this tribute: “Peter will be sadly missed and remembered by the team here at Eddingtons, where Peter’s bright disposition, willingness to resolve issues and go the extra mile to assure perfect project delivery was second to none.”
He adds, noting Peter’s attention to detail and consideration of his clients’ wellbeing: “There was always a power point for a kettle and fridge in place whether we ordered one or not.”
