Housewares suppliers have until no later than Friday July 24 to nominate outstanding retailers for The Excellence in Housewares Awards 2020. Nominations are invited via the online portal – easy and convenient – which can be found HERE.
Meanwhile, retailers are invited to self-nominate for any category via the easy online portal – at HERE.
Retailers are particularly encouraged to submit images and/or summaries for:
The Excellence in Retail Display Awards (uploading six photographs of window and/or in-store displays)
Excellence in Retailer Initiative (provide a short summary of a recent initiative, for example helping in the community, boosting retail profile or sales)
Excellence in Retail Training (provide a summary of a training programmes or initiative)
And
Retail Employee of the Year (describe your ‘star’ of the shopfloor who has gone the extra mile over the last year).
“In these extraordinary times, it seems all the more important to recognise the great lengths that housewares retailers are going to in order to rise to unprecedented challenges and connect with, and help their customers and communities,” said Jo Howard, editor of HousewaresNews.net and Progressive Housewares (organiser of The Excelence in Housewares Awards). “If you are a supplier, please take a little time to recognise your outstanding stockists, and if you are a retailer, please show us your wonderful displays and tell us about your inspiring initiatives.”
New retailer categories for 2020 include Best Garden Centre and Best Supermarket.
