MasterChef finalist’s foodie kitchenware

MasterChef UK finalist, Claire Fyfe has launched a range of products commissioned by Banijay Brands. The range (which launched on the MasterChef store on Amazon on October 1) was inspired by Claire’s journey on the competitive cooking show.

The MasterChef by Claire Fyfe range includes aprons, tea towels, coasters and placemats, lunchboxes, premium water bottles, mugs and ceramic trivets. Designs feature her favourite ingredients during her time on the show, including rhubarb, pineapple and mackerel. Each of the creative and bold block prints were hand crafted by Claire from potatoes and rhubarb stalks. Prior to coming fourth in the 16th series of MasterChef on BBC One (Shine TV) earlier this year, Claire (an abstract artist) studied textiles at university and trained as an interior designer.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with the MasterChef brand by personally creating a range of textiles and homeware products,” said Claire. “The designs represent my most-loved ingredients from the show and evoke wonderful memories of my MasterChef journey. I’m passionate about developing fun prints for the kitchen, and that’s exactly what I wanted to showcase in these products. I hope consumers love these products just as much as I do.”

Jane Smith, group director, brand licensing of Banijay Brands added: “Claire’s creative passion extends beyond food and into textiles and designs.  We talked about how we could work together, and this seemed the perfect fit, combining her love of food and design, creating original and unique MasterChef products.  We are thrilled to have partnered with Claire to help bring the MasterChef brand into even more homes in different and unique ways”

The book will launch globally in Spring 2021.
