Inspiring Culinary Generations, the national cookery competition sponsored by Teflon non-stick coatings, has announced that the winner of its 2022 Keen Home Cook National Final winner is Sofia Gallo of Milton Keynes. Eight outstanding home cooks created their signature dishes for judges headed up by celebrity chef Lesley Waters on March 31.

Sofia won a luxury hamper full of cooking and foodie goodies, along with a Teflon non-stick coated cookware set worth £500, and dinner, bed, and breakfast for two guests at award-winning pub, The Olive Branch. Highly commended finalist Carolyn Cerny received a set of Teflon non-stick coated bakeware and a Teflon non-stick coated frying pan, courtesy of Chef Set, while other finalists also received a cookware bundle on behalf of the competition’s sponsors (including BonChef, Lets Cook Cookware and Chef Set).
