BIRA launches Valentine’s Day campaign

Show some love has been designed to support retailers to get involved in Valentine’s Day, which is the first seasonal event on the calendar, and encourage customers to shop locally both in-store and online.

Participants don’t have to be a member of BIRA to access the bundle of resources and information to help them encourage customers into their stores and to their websites, from social media posts, posters and a free guide on how to market to customers.

BIRA ceo, Andrew Goodacre, commented: “We know that 2023 is going to be a tough year, which is why we want to offer extra support to our indies. Valentine’s Day is our first important date for retailers on the new year’s calendar, so this campaign will help support them market themselves more effectively than ever.”

The campaign will be further supported by BIRA with the campaign tag #BiraShowSomeLove, which will help further boost social media reach and coverage in each retailer’s area.
