The Great Brand Exchange offers John Lewis opportunity

As the festive season gets underway, The Great Brand Exchange (GBX) is once again offering small brands the opportunity to host a pop up in John Lewis.

“By setting up a temporary store front, small brands will benefit from high footfall and potential new customers,” highlights The Great Brand Exchange’s founder and managing director Matthew Hopkins.

“We help businesses bring their brand to life via our pop-up shops,” he continues. “In addition to John Lewis, we also work with Harvey Nichols, Boots, Waitrose and Primark. We also have a tailor-made distribution service to help retailers access a wide selection of small brands through a single source. Currently, one of our key objectives is to find new retail locations to host pop-ups.”

The company has recently launched Found Here, a membership platform where brands can have a listing on the GBX retail buyer directory, helping them to be ‘found’ by buyers more easily. “Via the membership, brands can also access recommended suppliers and attend live webinars by industry experts to help grow their business,” explains Matthew.

He believes that emerging and growing brands have an increasingly important role to play in the retail landscape and should have the same opportunities as well-established and well-funded businesses. “Since the beginning, The Great Brand Exchange has generated over £50m in retail sales for small brands, managed over 5000 in store pop-up shops and amassed a network of over 12,500 brands,” Matthew states.

Through the GBX bespoke tried and trusted business models, the company creates a wide range of commercial and marketing opportunities for small and emerging brands within the retail sector.
