Denby unveils Greenhouse & Carve

Handcrafted in Derbyshire, Denby’s Greenhouse & Carve collection is styled to suit the way we live today, and is sustainably made.

Inspired by nature, the range consists of tableware, home décor and gift pieces in a selection of patterns designed to create a sense of calm and tranquillity.

The layered leaf pattern of Greenhouse and soft toned glazes are placed against the textural backdrop of Carve, which is also available in white and green place setting items. Designed to be purchased as standalone ranges, or mixed and matched to create individual collections.

Carve White’s strong, yet subtle design makes an ideal foundation set. The falling leaves and biophilic design of Greenhouse adds interest and the Carve green pieces make statement items to display around the home.

The collection includes items at home in any room or as dinnerware for every day or special occasion use, creating a flexible range consumers can work around their lifestyle.

Pattern designer, Nicola Wilson, explained: “This collection offers a carefully selected range of items for the home, designed to create a calm, tranquil environment. The pattern was inspired by the shapes that leaves make when looking skyward from under a tree or when they are blown across the ground. By combining these layered leaves with soft toned glazes and a natural textured finish, Greenhouse is designed to suit the flexibility needed in today’s home.

“The Carve textured pieces are produced in the mould from an original, hand carved design. It took over 150 hours to produce each master mould by hand to create the original organic hand carved feel – one slip of the hand meant starting again. The carving effect gives the collection a remarkable look and feel which was only achieved by adding these layers of finesse and detail.”

Greenhouse & Carve will be available from March.
